You may decide suddenly during lunch on a Friday, that THIS is the weekend to just Chuck it All, and get away to Saratoga and our gorgeous region.  (SO beautiful, shiny and white with a fresh blanket of crystalline snow.)

Or you may plan to be in town for theatre, face painting, horse racing or swing dancing.  Whichever, whether last-minute escape or planned outing–Saratoga and our region promises something fun for you.  And we invite you to to rest your weary bones at the end of the day at our extraordinary B&B–and munch out in the mornings on Kate’s otherworldly breakfast offerings.

Led by program director Bhawin Suchak, award-winning youth filmmakers from Youth FX will give hands-on instruction in writing, directing, filming, and editing and using professional equipment.  Family Saturday: Music Along the Borders

N.B.:  Family Saturdays foster multigenerational, creative cooperation through looking at artwork, discussing it and engaging in a hands-on art activity. Most programs run from 2:00 – 3:30PM,  and include a tour of a specific exhibition.

Along the Border is an exciting exhibit by artist Guillermo Galindo:  musical instruments crafted  from objects found along the Mexico-United States border. Galindo’s instruments are constructed from cans, shoes, bicycle wheels—and much more. We will make our own instruments from a variety of objects, and then play music together!

The Laffer Gallery is delighted to announce its upcoming exhibition, Organic Form, an exhibit that brings together artists Jordan Becker, Valerie Craig, Rob Longley, Teri Malo and Jae Schalekamp.  Via the arts of painting or ceramics, each artist is inspired by the connections between organic forms, the human spirit and universal, elemental themes within Nature.

The Clifton Park Elks #2466 will host An Evening with Hair of the Dog on Saturday, on March 10, 2018.  The doors open at 6PM; the show will begin at 7PM.  Proceeds from Hair of the Dog’s show will support Elks’ Charities for student scholarships; veterans’ services and youth programs.  Food and beverage specials will be available the evening of the show.

Tickets can be purchased at the Lodge via cash or credit card.  Tickets can be reserved with credit cards; receipts will be sent via email.
