Whether you’re here for the beer, whiskey and cider; horse racing or Art Nouveau–February has something fun for you–and we have just the place to rest your weary bones at the end of the day.  Check out these offerings, and make your reservation at our quiet B&B, for a restful night during your quest for February Fun:

 

February 19 – 25:

Presidents’ Week activities:

10AM – 4PM, National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame
191 Union Avenue

 Throughout the entire school break, children 12 and younger will receive FREE admission with a paid adult.  On February 19th (Presidents’ Day), everyone over age 12 will receive a special, BOGO (buy one, get one free) promotional admission.

All Museum visitors are invited to partiipate ina  game, and a scavenger hunt related to Presidents and their involvement with horses.  Several Presidents (including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson) owned and rode Thoroughbred horses, while others such as Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy had horses at the White House as pets for their children.  President Ulysses S. Grant was known to visit his horses daily.

Everyone who turns in their activity sheets at the Museum front desk will receive a free Secretariat wristband.  The activities will take place throughout the Museum during the house of 10AM and 4PM.

Thursday, February 22:

Horse Explorers

10:30AM – 11:15AM, National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, Horseplay Gallery

Fees/Admission:  Children, free with a paid, accompanying adult.

 *  Recommended for ages 3-6, Horse Explorers is a hands-on series intended to creatively educate children about horses by developing age-appropriate skills in disciplines including art, literacy, science and math. The program will be staffed by the Museum’s professional educators.

Beer, Whiskey and Cider enthusiasts – come to Saratoga for a five-day, city-wide celebration of your favorite beverages. The 7th Annual Saratoga Beer Week will take place February 20-24, 2018—right on the heels of the Dance Flurry!

2018 Saratoga Beer Week promises fun, food, and fantastic Beer, Whiskey and Cider.    With multiple events scheduled over the course of five days, locals and visitors alike will enjoy top regional and national brews while seeing the best of Saratoga offerings, including restaurants, hops and grains.
